I know this is a huge piece to the puzzle, but I feel one more big time 4-5* recruit could begin a nice domino effect. I have felt CBJ & staff would do great in little time they have. This shows a very intelligent and realistic look at the staff's ability to recruit. When he announces his commitment, I think a few more will follow!

this is huge news, and i hope he can make it this weekend to help with Vonn. i dint like in the article how he said sway Vonn to Tennessee leads me to believe he is leaning somewhere else (which i know has been said mulitple times) but in my heart i always felt it was Tennessee's to loose.

Great followup article +1. I know this is off the wall but with his length and athleticism do you see any chance he could move to OL at left tackle? I know it's a stretch but if we land some other DL prospects I'm thinking it could be possible. A 6'6" frame could carry another 50lbs if he added it over a couple of years. I suppose it depends on what he's been promised and where he wants to play. Just a thought.

Now THIS is how you start a Wednesday!! Very pleased about this. Carr looks like he could suit up now and play. Might be the most SEC ready of the current recruits we have. Absolutely love that he has confirmed his commitment and right after visiting with Saban and his minions, no less!! Hopefully this is the start of a string of good news in recruiting leading up til signing day. Attaboy Jason! Cant wait to see you in orange on Saturdays!!

This is definitely a tremendous win on several levels for the Vol Nation. One, we get an excellent football player with lots of potential. Two, Coach Jones shows "the doubters" that he can indeed recruit top talent. And three, it sends a thunderous message throughout college football that UT will, once again, own the state of Tennessee when it comes to recruiting in-state talent. So...."here's to you ol' Tennessee, my alma mater true..."
