Cheek to UTEP....

Cheek isn't going from UTK to UTC. LOL. UT runs UTC. Why would UTK send Cheek to UTC? That's a demotion. That's like sending Dooley over to UTC to save their football program. If Cheek goes anywhere it won't be anything associated with UT. LOL. Some of the stuff you people come up with is absolutely hilarious. You really think that UT Knoxville would demote it's Chancellor to UTC? UT Knoxville runs UT Chattanooga last I checked. Why would UTK fire somebody and then hire them at UTC? LOL. Morons.

While I believe the story was bs and UTC would be a demotion, I believe Cheek is Chancellor of UTK only. It would be more like a lateral move from SVP of a company's high revenue producing department to SVP of Janitorial Services. No offense intended to any Janitors or UTC Alum on the board.

If the BOT likes the direction he is heading academically then moving him to UTC makes sense where athletics are not as big for the overall financial health of the university.

Jimmy cheek is a cancer on UT and its getting worse every day he stays! PERIOD! I'm sick of all the "other school" implants! We need some ORANGE blood back in TENNESSEE and not the color orange where Cheek comes from!!!
