Kevin mentioned his name yesterday. ACC recruiter if the year last year and recruits the Tidewater, VA region.
He's is an article that was just posted saying TN and WV are interested in his services.

Chip West is a wanted man

With his reputation as a top recruiter and position coach, it should come as no surprise that UVa assistant Chip West is seen as a hot commodity by college head coaches.

Would be a home run hire in my book. Didn't 247 name him the ACC recruiter of the year last year? Plus, it could only help that Marquez North and Derrick Green are in that area.

guy's alot people dont see this a big hurry up hire but wouldnt it make more since to retain hinshaw
1-keeps most of our class ...then if he dont pull some big recruites always replace him next year or the next year. fla.st hire dont remember his name hire him either 2...trooper would only help recruiting but do we go down that road again?
ive thought about it ...he could pull lawson and foster i think it is..1 way the other ide like to see this hire happen..for the sake of the recruiting class.

West sure sounds like a good candidate. We need another African-American on staff who is an incredible recruiter.
No Hinshaw = too white, and too bad a job on in-state recruiting per the TFP article.
No Trooper = too many NCAA issues.

We had one in Pittman and it's sad that he didn't get a shot to do his thang along the East Coast.
