The CheckerBoard

Hello fellow Vol fans,

After spending the holidays with some family and friends (which, all of my family are Vol fans), I realized how well informed and up to date on all things Vols I am, and obviously, that is because of this message board but more so because of how dedicate the staff of this website is timeliness and accuracy. Honestly, I feel like the service I receive is worth more than I pay, and that is becoming more and more rare these days. Now, I could go on and on saying "good job" and "thanks" in various eloquent ways to show my appreciation, and I know W/R/K would be grateful for that, but I wait tables. And I know how I like to be shown appreciation when I do a good job, and that is by someone giving me money.

I realized that once the amount I can afford to give for something like this is split three ways, while well intentioned and a demonstration of my appreciation, it wouldn't really help them out all that much, except to get Wes a couple Big Macs.

So then I started to think that there would probably be other people on this board that would also like to show their appreciation, more so than just lip service, so I thought I would share my idea. I'm not sure how many members there are for this site, but if a good handful of us pitched in and agreed to give one extra monthly fee (I think it's around $10) that might be some serious money. There are 1350 people on the board right now. If 1,000 of us agree to do it, that $10,000. I don't really know how to organize this though. Maybe W/R/K can put their brains together and decide if they'd like checks sent to an office, or maybe it would be as simple as sending Kevin a Private Message authorizing a charged donation. Or there is Kickstarter out there, but I'm not real familiar with how it works. Alright, sound off guys. There's my idea. I'm obviously open for suggestions. Regardless, W/R/K, I'd like to donate an extra months fee for a job well done. How would you like me to do that?
