Of course CCM will be back next year. We'll have to disagree, however, on the deservedly so. Sometimes you can just see that a guy isn't going to work out. Nice guy, good dude. Just not a very good basketball coach. Has nothing to do with our tempo or, quite honestly, our W's and L's. It's how our team plays the game. It's watching guys run around screens and not do the simplest of things and that is rub shoulders with the screener. Things we were all taught in middle school.

I am constantly blown away by the number of my vol fan brethren that refer back to Bruce pearl. He came to Knoxville with a shady past, broke ncaa rules, lied about breaking ncaa rules, then had the nerve to knowingly continue to break NCAA rules after the ad promised to save his job. What a super guy! So he had energy and charisma, so do most good used car salesmen. Are we really the fan base willing to sacrifice all for a w? Are our memories that short? Did we not finish second in conference and beat Florida twice last year? Give ccm a healthy Maymon, a true point guard, and a couple of years in his system then I too will be ready to judge. But I would personally hate to have some of the guys on here as bosses, getting let go after having a job for a couple of hours just because i didn't perform up to their expert opinions. How bout a little patience and positivity vol nation? Come on man!

THIS........People need to move on from him as:

1. he cant be hired til Aug 2014 IIRC and Zo should have a good 2013-2014 campaign
2. Hart does not appear to me like someone that would hire him bc it would not be "his guy"....for just one reason
3. I cant name 1 HC that got fired for NCAA reasons that returned to the same school.

and I liked the guy and thank him for raising our program from the dead but he is gone for good reason and IMO should have been let go prior to his last season.

Martin will be here for at least 4 years. This team looks pretty bad on offense right now because Golden has been hurt and Martin failed to recruit a good point guard. I'm not sure the kid coming in this fall is going to help either. Moore won't be an option at the point guard either. That's just not work for him. Next year Tennessee will have a pretty good year assuming Stokes comes back. Golden will be a senior, Hubbs and Davis will add a spark, and Maymon will be back. That team will dominate the boards. The offense will probably still be shaky at times, but they will make the NCAA tourney next year with that line up. The problem is going to be after that year. Golden, Maymon, McRae, and most likely Stokes will be gone then. No true point guard and a terrible offensive game plan could end Martin's career that year. We shall see. He's going to get 4 years, but it's not going to be pretty offensively.
