    We were in the 8-9 game where the NCAA screwed us on seeding that year so you are not remembering correctly. We lost so bad in the 1st round because it was leaked by Hamilton that Bruce was pretty much gone as soon as the NCAA tourney was over

    The point in all this is a good coach like CBP took a program who hadn't been to the tourney in years and took them to the tourney in his first year and then for 6 straight years.not the other way around like Martin has done.

    Screwed us on seeding. We were terrible in the SEC that season and limped into the tournament. The BP thing affected the team and him coming back hurt the team even worse I thought because he was such a distraction.

  • Well you all can beat UK on Tuesday. Just do what my Cards did. Get in their face. Make them play selfish, which isn't hard to do. Macrae dropped 26 on Memphis he could score 60 against UK. Tell Stokes to man up and get in the paint. Send the Cats to the NIT.

    And I love the fact you ignore Martin taking over a team that had went to 6 straight tournaments and will miss his first 2 years on the job. There is no alternate universe where this would be considered even remotely getting the job done. Martin has not done anything so far to get fired this year but he hasn't done anything to get a fourth year either.So as I have stated throughout this thread next year will be the decider either he makes the tourney and keeps his job or he doesn't and doesn't keep his job.

  • If Martin were to get fired after year 3 and I'm not saying he will, but if he does is there a chance that we could get Bruce back? I have had so many people ask me this very question.
