Ryan,
Thanks for this information. Has anyone mentioned that the staff should have left a visit with Bell for this final week? I dont understand why they wouldnt or didnt.
I think they have done an excellent job getting to this point but if this is a miscalculation its a big one.

I don't know that it was better than visiting Bell, but I think meeting with his coach was important since he wasn't able to attend Jones' in-home visit with Bell. That was a good read by UT to determine that it was important for Jones to spend some time with Bell's coach.

Agreed. Another move that I don't think we would have seen from the previous staff. We have such a good shot at signing him.
I felt more confident, however, earlier this week than I do now.

Not only a great move to help with Bell but to sow seeds for the future as well. Dooley apparently didn't believe in nurturing anything for the future.

It was a brilliant move for two reasons. First, and most obvious, is for the recruitment of Vonn. Second, I live in Chattanooga, and there is a feeling of being under-appreciated by high school coaches in this area. I continue to read that this is true across the state. Things like this visit go a long way towards correcting that impression. GBO!

Yea tom cat thats all I heard earlier in the week they didn't have room they had the Edwards kid higher on there board, hope Vonn saw the same thing's we did and tells them to STICK-IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
