The CheckerBoard

Let me start out by saying i am new to this site and this is my first post. I have become addicted to getting on here to get info on the big Orange, but it at times is stressing me out. I love Gruden and wanted him to be our hire, and think he would have done a great job here. This is only my opinion, others may disagree and thats what great about this country we all have the right and freedom to express these opinions. That being said here is what i think should happen next. The Gruden hire is over, we move on, sure he could have been our savior or he could have been a flop at the college level, we will never know. Dave Hart has the job to find our next coach, granted it needs to be a good one and im sure he knows he will be accountable for this hire, but i dont feel we as fans can criticize or judge his hire till after a year of coaching, then we can sit back and make a decision on if the hire was a good one or not. We are all guilty (including myself) of saying things that we would have or should have done if we were making the decisions. but guess what we are not. I get paid to build power lines for a living, not hire coachs. Sure i will have an opinion on whoever our next coach will be, but i will support the hire regardless till i see the results and make a decision then whether it was a good hire or not. Again i love this site and the opportunity it gives us to blurt out whats on our minds.
