I side with some of the other posts. Agree to his salary range, but create incentive levels in order to achieve it. If he’s as good as he thinks he is, man-up and put your money where your mouth is. Good to hear that they’re at least negotiating… can’t imagine Hart would let him get away easily if he has him on the hook. Hart knows this hire could do wonders for his own career if he makes this work.
I don't understand why everyone cares so much...The guy won a super bowl with a program Dungy built and then he ran it into the ground after that. He was barely over .500 with his record. He's going to be a dud, Hart probably realizes that.

i cant believe we are going to let money keep us from hiring him. i think if the only hold back is money, you find a way to do it.
