The CheckerBoard

This is the worse case scenario in my opinion simply bc I am going to be pi$$ed if Hart doesn't do what it takes to get Jon Gruden...along with tens of thousands of volunteer fans worldwide. A negotiation is all about leverage...we have ZERO and he is Jon Fricking Gruden. Of all people in collegiate athletics, Hart should know the IMMEDIATE impact this hire would have on our football program. Does anyone in their right mind think Alabama regrets giving Nick Saban $5.5 Million/year?!? And according to reports, Arkansas just offered Les Miles around $5.5 Million/year. Don't tell me that Jon Gruden isn't worth Les Miles money!

As a lifelong volunteer fan and alum, I am disgusted that our once proud football program has become obsolete. I am equally confident that there are coaches available that will get us back to being competitive in the SEC East....but I don't want to be competitive, I want to dominate. Fedora, Strong, and Golden make us competitive. Gruden makes us dominate. Walk through any airport in the world and you see Alabama sweatshirts and caps everywhere...that is what domination looks like. With that said, GET THIS DONE IF IT IS EVEN A POSSIBILITY!
