Give him a hat with this attire and he might become legendary:
"Unlike most younger coaches, Golden wears a dress shirt, slacks and a tie on the sidelines."
I'm leaning toward his defensive background or Strong's. Defense first then offense for priorities - IMO.

What has Fisher done to make him harts first choice? i just don't think he will excite the fan base and recruits like strong. Beginning to not like harts decision making....if all this is true about Fisher being nbr 1 choice.

Gundy - No Defense - No Way!
Fisher - Never had to do it away from some serious home grown,back yard talent - ?
Strong - Yes for me, defensive minded, hard nosed
Golden - Another yes, classy, won at Temple for gosh sakes!
Fedora- Yes again. These last three seem that they would consider UT a destination and be appreciative to be here as opposed to looking for the next gig or more $$$

Fisher, Strong, Davis, and Golden are all HUGE upgrades over Dooley. I'll be excited about any of these coaches for different reasons. Pulling Fisher away from FSU will be a huge storyline nationally (gets UT some much needed positive press). Strong brings the hot sauce and passion that 18 year olds love...and which Dooley completely lacked. Davis is a winner. Golden is old school, and I love the orange tie! I'm just glad the Gruden circus is finally over. At the end of the day, I'm thinking Strong is our guy...and I love it! With that said, go Vols!
