1 quick thing, there was a post here yesterday that Zach was offered a GA position, but that wasn't mentioned... is that something you guys are trying to confirm, don't care about, or don't have any reason to believe it happened?

Zack would make a lot of sense as a GA. That would be one more coach who would be available to teach the offense the scheme that coach Jones is bringing in.

Am I one of none here that is concerned about Bray "buying in?" For some reason it just seems to me that Bray would be a tough horse to break into Coach Butch's system. Of course, if Bray leaves, that won't be a concern. IMO, I'd just about rather see us start with a new QB.

I don't think you're the only one with that concern. Me, personally, I really hope Bray decide to go pro and would not be upset if Butch indicated to him it would be his best option.

I have to wonder how much of Brays attitude was a direct result of the coach he had to play under. I would really like to see him under a real good coach one season. He has all the talent in the world but seems to need a good teacher.

He was a great player and appeared to be a fine young man off the field. Hopefully we make him a graduate assistant. This continues to make me feel good about coach Jones. I'm so excited at the thought of a coach who the team will come together and play for. The days of thes guys quitting when it gets tough and giving up on there coach are long gone and i couldn't be more excited. Coach Jones was a big time hire and he will show the doubters that soon.

I am on the fence with Bray. If he buys in all the way, the sky is the limit for him. If he continues as is, I think we have 2 good backups ready to go. Just my opinion but I would be surprised to see him stay.

Nathan Peterman probably fits CBJ's system the best. NP almost went to Cincy out of HS. Peterman will be a good one for the Vols. If Bray leaves, and he probably will, NP has a great shot at being the starter. He's very good on the run.
