2013. Team 117. Beginning of the new Era.
As a big Raiders fan, I can tell you right now that Gruden is the man. He is the last good coach that the Raiders had and he was the man responsible for their run in the early 00's. While he didn't take the Raiders to the Super Bowl (could have had one appearance if not for the BS tuck rule), he had them within a game of the Super Bowl his last year there. The team that he built went to the Super Bowl a year after he left only to be beat by Gruden himself in Tampa Bay.
Rich Gannon was a career backup until he went to Oakland and became a perennial Pro Bowler and later won the league MVP.
Things might have went south toward the end of Gruden's run in Tampa, but the guy can flat out coach and would be a hell of a hire if UT were to make a change. Any guy that can coach for 4 years in Oakland and not have a losing record in any of those years is a great coach and that is not debatable.
There are many signatures in the world....this one is mine!
