Given the choice, would you rather us beat:
1) South Carolina and Alabama
2) Florida and Georgia
I might be in the minority here, but I'd go with Florida and Georgia. I know Alabama is Alabama, but I've grown up in the era where Florida (to me at least) is really our main rival more than the Tide is (I was born in '94). I hate Florida. I'm sick of losing to the Gators every year; a win in the Swamp would be pure ecstasy. Recruiting would absolutely go through the roof with a win of that magnitude that early in the season. Not to mention what the look on Muschamp's face would be during the post-game press conference. Also, both of those opponents are SEC East foes, so we would most likely end up with the inside track to the SECCG if we won those two. Georgia has won the East 2 years in a row now; that has to stop. A win over the "Dawgs" is always nice...and it's in Knoxville. South Carolina is a division game yes, but a win there does not carry the weight of a win over Georgia or Florida as far as rivalry and history go.
Anyway, what say you, board?

I would rather beat Bama than the other three.

Could come out of the East if we beat UF and UGA, so I'll go with them.
Beating Georgia and Florida would almost ensure us a spot in the SEC championship game giving us a rematch against Bama in which we would win! (Why not have the cake and eat it too!? :) lol.
Not if USC has only one lose again, they would get the nod. Tennessee would have two loses by default. USC would still have the tie breaker advantage with 2 losses. Even if UGA, UF, USC, and UT all tied with two losses, UT would be on the outside looking in on the conference championship game. I'd rather beat Bama and USC.
I pick option C) beat all 4 of them
I would rather fall in love with an animal activist, tree hugging hippy vegan than lose to any of those teams......

Orange, wouldn't you think if we beat Florida and Georgia that we would be able to match up against USCe? Sure we would lose to Bama but those two wins would ALMOST ensure us a shot at a rematch w Bama in the championship game. Besides, this is all hypothetical so have some fun w it man! :p

yes, but I'm left with the choice to take the loss with Bama and USC if I choose the wins over UF and UGA. We definitely would match up well with USC... I was just going with my list of choices and thought I'd throw up what happens with a loss to USC and Bama, but with wins over UF and UGA. Right now they are all very good teams. You pretty much have to beat all three to end up in the SEC conference championship game. One of those teams will only have one loss at the end of day. That's going to keep Tennessee out the SEC conference championship game with either pick. JMO... Now if you could guarantee me that they were all going to tank after the fact... My choice might be different.
