...and how a big name hire would be worth the $. Florida and Alabama gear out sells UT gear 2 to 1 in West Knoxville stores. I knew I saw more AL and FL in stuff in middle TN these days but in Knoxville, that's terrible:

I'll hang up and listen.
We seem to be transitioning from an all Gruden all day attitude to a trash our own team attitude. I'm thinking neither attitude is healthy or viable. If failing on Gruden means bandwagoners jump off of the wagon at least something positive will come of this.
It makes sense to some degree. Obviously the poor state of UT football plays a part, but how many UT fans buy UT apparel at SS anyway? I know I've never stepped foot in there. Granted, I'm from out of town, but I've always bought my stuff at places like Alumni Hall, Hound Dogs etc., going back to the days of the Orange and White bookstore and the Campus Bookstore in the 70s and 80s. Still shop at Alumni Hall all the time. Everyone I know in Knoxville does too. If you're a Bammer, you have no other choice but to go to SS, you won't find anything at Alumni Hall.
