Loooong time until NSD 2014 and even until December when Hurd could enroll. But, if Hurd and Paulk stick does UT take another back in this class? Thanks for the opinions/insight!
I think we would take Chubb or Autry. Other than those two, Butch might be really selective. Hurd and Paulk are an outstanding 1-2 punch.

I think they would take one more. Neal is a senior, Lane is a junior, and we really have nothing after that as far as quality backs. We need to build some strong depth so I can see us taking 3.
I think it depends on if Jabo qualifies. If he does, I could see them stopping at 2 because Hurd will be an early enrollee and will be splitting carries in 2014 with Lane. Lots of holes on this roster (OL, DL, LB) to be taking 3 RBs.
I think they take one more but they would be very selective with who they took.

Yeah I agree with this. I think they would probably take both Chubb and Autry if they both wanted to commit, but if they get one, they probably back off the other a little. We're getting some nice skill guys, but they need to focus more on the big guys on the line if they really want this class to fill needs.
I forgot about Jabo qualification issues. I agree with ya'll, we might take another but it'd have to be a good one.
Remember also that we can take 30-31 guys this class so we have a little more wiggle room.
I don't know we took lee and we have pig Howard and that other guy whose name I'm forgetting who will play hybrid RB/WR I don't think we need more then 2 or 3 maybe a very high quality 3rd guy but with these two a top ten player and a 4 star composite it's hard to see them wasting a scholly just to get a third back especially when we need about 10 lineman on both sides and another 4 linebackers minimum

Autry would be awesome. That dude is a beast.

got to be impressed with Paulk jumping on board right after Hurd. dude ain't afraid of competition!
There will be carries to go around. In 2012, Cincinnati passed it 371 times and ran it 492. That. Is. Crazy.
To give reference...Tennessee ran it 413 and passed it 477.
3rd and 1??! Ahh hell throw it deep....
Wow did not know that stat thanks for the info I truly believe without a running game you are dead in the SEC nice to see jones spread isn't just slinging the ball around through the air
I agree with this, which is why I feel like Bars, not Bates, is the next big guy for us to try and lock down. As much as I want Bates too, our OL worries me, especially if the talent we have coming in the backfield has no holes.
Lol to be honest though when you have a QB Like bray and the recieving corp we had and no real consistent between the tackles running back I don't really blame those decisions to throw so much
I just hate that the first pic of Bars on his 247 profile is him in a Vandy shirt.
I think it's been stated those issues may have been over blown.

I agree. This might be worthy of another thread, but who is our second string OL consist of? You never hear anything but good things out of guys like Kerbyson, Posey, etc. Since they'll literally be a new starting 5 in 2014, who are we looking at that's on the roster now or signed?
Racean "Rock" Thomas is supposed to be on campus this weekend as well. Butch would gladly accept his commitment as well as Chubb's, IMO.
Hey, everyone needs one or two of those shirts that you can use to do things like dust with it, put out a fire with it, or use it to pick up after your dog if you don't have a bag
