I hope I am wrong, but I have a bad feeling that the attendance for that game will be lower than we have seen in decades. I don't know what the lowest attendance is, but if we have more than 60-65,000 people in the stands (not just tickets sold), I will be very surprised. If it is that low, I wonder if that will affect the decisions of the powers that be.
Man, I am just so tired of all this crap. I wish I could just cheer these guys on and not worry about all these damn side issues. i just want to to see the Vols play some good ball. Wish I could just pretend the last 5 years didn't even happen.....isn't this supposed to be fun?
Some cause happiness wherever they go; others whenever they go.
Your team. All the time.
"Old School"! A strong defense wins championships!

I have had season tix 28 years and been to most home games since '74. I believe the crowd for Troy will be the smallest in that time. Low 60's tops if the weather is good. Reminds me of Wyoming. I will be there to see the passing of an age.
I've scheduled a colonoscopy for myself instead of going. Less painful.
70K or less.
Maybe a better thread would be a support thread for the players that encourages attendance at the game. I am now trying to figure out how I can make it to the game.
Agree. I will be there
Me too once i finish trolling the forums I'm heading over to check on 3 tickets, after all this mess they should be cheaper than the last few weeks. I'm hoping to go to the Missouri game as well...might ahve to choose one or the other tho.
I'll never root against my alma mater but I hope the fans show their dissatisfaction the only way they can, with their pocket books. Four meaningless wins against bad opponents should not change anything, and I hope Dave Hart acts this week before it can even become a possibility.
I could go into the litany of things that drove me out into my yard so I wouldn't fill like an ass for being mad at a football team after what happened to Lattimore, but there's no point. The same issues exist that have existed all year. Nothing has been fixed. We still can't punt the ball three years in. This era of UT football needs to end.
Come on man, if we win out we're still 7-5, 2 games better than last year and we will go Bowling, win that and we're 8-5. We have improved, just not on Defense, we've regressed there and Dooley isn't a Defensive coach. Sal most certainly doesn't appear ready to be a DC. That or our players on Defense are just the biggest bunch of idiots ever, which i doubt highly.
Two games better than last year because last year we lost to an unranked UGA team and all 5 ranked teams and then Dooley lost to Kentucky. If we beat Kentucky and win a crappy bowl game like we should have this artificial "progress" talk wouldn't exist.
Congratulations, three years in you've built to the 9th best team in the SEC even with possibly 7 draft picks in the first three rounds, many of whom will get the hell out of dodge before you get a chance for year four.
Does he deserve a ribbon too?
I did laugh at this!!
I'm a season ticket holder. I'll be there with the family.
I think me and my wife will be there rooting for our team. This is still our team no matter what. I dont like it any better than the next but I still support this team. Everyone has there opinion and I respect that, just hope for recruiting and these current player we can fill the stands. Go Vols!!
I'm going and taking my dad, who is a life long Vol's fan to his first game in Neyland (60th birthday present).
5. Ball, oskie, cover, block, cut and slice, pursue and gang tackle... for this is the WINNING EDGE.
That is awesome! Hope he has a great experience and we come out with a W!
I would guess announced attendance to be 75-80k
