Colin Cowherd was talking about it this morning. He said something about Saban being in Miami apologizing for how he left and also his wife isn't happy at Bama. Saban doesn't have anything to prove anymore. I think he really will leave within 2 years.
He's building one of the biggest dynasties college football has ever seen. I doubt he leaves, he is King in Alabama, he won't be King in the NFL.
Don't know one way or the other about Saban. But one thing I do know, Cowherd will stir the pot for his ratings. So, I don't listen to much Cowherd says. Just saying, be careful what you take away from what he says.
The crap about his wife not being happy is crap. She loves it there.
"We're very comfortable here. We love it here. It's a great fit for our family. It's a good fit for me. As far as we're concerned, this is where we'll retire someday. As far as jobs go, this is it for us. I don't mean to be presumptuous. I would have to talk this over with Nick, but as far as I'm concerned, this is it," - Terry Saban (Dec. 7, 2012)
I will not be the next coach of Alabama - Nick Saban
I've noticed Cowterd likes to stir the pot so who knows. He might want to go back to the NFL to prove something though.
Bama fans will come over but u cant go to their little protected board. They are the most sensitive fanbase ever

No depth? Really?
I think he was kidding.
And the sensitive bama fan is here.
It's like they "materialize" on que !
Even it thought it would make more sense for him to stay put at bama because he has a dynasty there, I have never thought Saban would retire as the Alabama coach. Saban is a rebuilder and go to the next type coach. I also think there's a want in the back of his head to give the NFL another shot with the hope of being able to say he's one of the only guys to win a championship at both levels.
"Give him six" "We don't give a damn about the whole state of Alabama" "Grit N Grind"
"Count it down with me. Five, four, three, two, one.
The national champion is clad in Big Orange!"
Unfortunately, Volfan28 is correct. I live in Tuscaloosa and have heard from at least one person close to Saban that his wife loves it here and any rumors of him leaving are absolute crap. His wife is very happy in Tuscaloosa. Obviously, things could change or the guy could have fed me garbage, but I don't think so.
I heard on the radio that Saban loves it there and felt bad for the players at LSU, b/c he had built special relationships with those guys. He also said that he loves the bond with the guys he recruits and doesn't want to leave them behind. This was on the overnight takeover with Jon Harris at around 3am this morning.
I think he wants to break the Bears record for NC's. I don't think he is going anywhere for a while, but I could be wrong though.

You heard it here first!
Haaaa... run them into the ground
Finebaum discussed this at length last week. At the end of the season Saban will ask Jimmy Sexton if there is anything he should know. If Sexton has an extraordinary offer in hand he will tell Saban about it. If not, then he won't even mention it. All offers have to go through Sexton. If there is something worth mentioning then Saban will then decide if he wants to listen to it.
Finebaum also said that he views it as unlikely that Saban will leave but he is less sure than he has been in previous years.
