Boston College, Kentucky and California have combined for one FBS win heading into Week Six. That's not good.
I'm so sick of the National media painting a false picture about Dooleys job security.... He isn't going anywhere unless he finishes below .500 again, and that's not gonna happen.
You don't know what Dave Hart is thinking... I'm thinking he wants to put his stamp on this program, but thats just me. Derek Dooley is Hamiltons guy. But 7 wins is a toss up, not a foregone conclusion Dooley is gone like this article states.
Anyone who thinks he is "safe" with less than 8 wins is living in a fantasy world. He may find a way to hold on with 7 wins before the bowl but there will be a lot of unhappy boosters if he does.
Thats what I think to, Ultimately gun to my head I think he would stay, mainly because of the buyout, but there would be a lot of unhappy people.
I don't think he has to win 9 (as the article states), but I don't think he keeps his job with 7 wins unless one of the 7 is Bammer. If he finishes 6-6 he won't get to coach the bowl game.
i just hope we beat msu. if not, this discussion will matter
Cool another hot seat post I hate bye weeks
What I disagree with is one out of three gives him an argument. I dispute that. I think in this run it's what is expected and anything else is cake.
I think competitiveness and attendance for the Bama game are a sentinel event. I am convinced that 08 Bama game doomed CPF. Seeing Neyland full of Bammers was an indictment on CPF and the mood of the fanbase.
Me too....Do these so called experts know anything about UT
I'll hang up and listen.
He's probably worrying about this Jennings mess getting out of hand. It could get ugly and lead to his termination.
Will never happen in a bazillion years.
What do people not understand about her just wanting cash?
No one files a suit like this hoping for vindication. They want to get something out of the big monolithic university that they think is rolling in cash.
She'll get paid and magically shut up. Dave Hart's job is in zero danger.
Oh well in that case, great PR move by the Athletic Department in letting it get this far.
