A Michigan guy as AD? Or Fla with a FSU guy? Or Clemson with a So Car guy?
Yet we have a Bama guy as our AD running our search solo with a Gator Prez?
I honestly have no idea why people are so bothered by that.
Will Muschamp PLAYED at Georgia. Florida doesn't seem to worry about that.

Vince Dooley went to Auburn and coached forever at Georgia. Pat Dye went to Georgia and coached at Auburn. Whatever.
Hart's lifelong ambition has been to run an enormous athletic department, and do it well. Thus far, he hasn't. That's not because he's running a secret agent mission to destroy Tennessee. It's because he isn't good at doing searches for football coaches by himself. (See his previous experience in doing so).
The money crowd is about to take this thing over and we will get a great coach. Mal Moore is an Alabama man, through and trough. He got spurned by RichRod (Moore's pick) and had his donors' prime target stand at a podium and proclaim that he would not be the coach at Alabama. Two (maybe, three) national titles later, how has that worked out?
Mal's not real bright. Hart's not real bright. The guys who collectively made billions of dollars - and sign the checks - are bright. Who do you think picks the coach?
Says The Wizard of Oz!
I live in Columbus...have been around Ohio State football for my whole life....
Ohio State fans would go bat-$hit if their athletic department was run by Michigan guy. Fact.
I don't care where they're from as long as they do a good job. In this case being from other schools and doing a poor job doesn't look good. This is a disaster.
People need to get it through their skulls that PROFESSIONALS ARE NOT FANS.
They don't wear school colors. They don't have stickers on their cars. They don't wave flags.
They work for the schools that hire them. Any allegiance they may once have had has been left at the door. Their allegiance is to the people who sign the paychecks.
Why is that so hard to understand?
