Tommy Tuberville left at least three recruits at the dinner table Friday night at The 50 Yard Line Steakhouse and never returned.
Just saw this on twitter. I think swain RT this one. It is another example of how college football coaches are mercenaries. Primarily concerned with making money at the expense of others. This story shows that. Good pick up Watauga.
There are only four answers to any question: Yes, No, I don't know, or the Correct Answer.
Hahaha...and a few wanted him hired here. Some people just bring it on themselves.
yea, what a classless move. I like how he skirted the question about how long he'd be there and the recruit didn't realize it until later. What a piece of work. I hope the Cinci fans realize that he's gone at the first sniff of a better job.
BUTCH IS NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART. GO VOLS!
Lane Kiffin thinks that's a hasty departure.
Where is that clown from Cincinnati who was on our board last week telling us they got the better end of this deal?
Recruit "Coach, How long will you be here?"
Tubbs "They will have to carry me out of Lubbock in a Pinebox. Wait, Hang on, I just got a text, I need to take this."
Wonder if he at least picked up the tab? Ha!
My thoughts would be no. Too classy a move.
Precisely why I wanted this horse's ass nowhere near Knoxville. He's an opportunist of the worst kind.
The 'C' on that helmet on the podium in the picture must stand for Classy. Stay classy, Tubs!

Sounds almost like a Bobby Petrino move to me. Yeesh!
Not sure I agree with the mercenaries assessment. When does one cross the line from "good career move" to "mercenary?"
Also not sure how much better a job Cincy is than TX Tech. Seems more like a lateral move than a step up. Maybe it's closer to the south and that's where he's most comfortable? I don't know if Tuberville will get another shot at the SEC.
