Even went as far as looking for a blue tick puppy for announcement according to Hubbs and company
guess he couldnt find one so thats why he went to Michigan
He just didn't fit CBJ's offense as well as he did Michigan's. Simple as that IMO.
well he was just like Vonn Bell they wanted to see us win games this season it kinda sucks we missed out on some of these guys because of our past record but i think losing a few recruits > still having dooley IMO. Go CBJ
Well I would rather lose out on Green and have Dooley gone any day, all day.

Why post war room info on another site? That's not how it's supposed to work. You don't see me taking vip room info to another site do you? That ruins the point of any site having one of those.
Hey man, they really are hard to find! I just had to drive almost 5hrs away from Knoxville to find one! LOL
Silent commit means absolutely nothing...
I don't know if this is true or not but operating under the assumption that it is, I think we can clearly see two points:
1. People will go to great lengths to disparage Derek Dooley's recruiting abilities and efforts.
2. It's way too early to start voicing any questions/concerns you may have about Butch Jones and Co.'s recruiting abilities. You'll be eaten alive.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Whatever.
No DV necessary IMO. Thanks for the info +1
Using Butch's words - let's talk about players on our team. Until I see him say it, I don't believe it. He would have had no problem getting a hound as Eric Berry would have taken him to his source.
Far too many people aren't secure enough to be able to acknowledge anything positive about Dooley for fear that it might lessen their opinion of Butch somehow.
I honestly believe he told both UT and Mich that he was coming numerous times thru the Fall and even into Jan maybe. We fell behind when the staff turnover happened and he only knew Graham on our staff and he had numerous coaches on Mich that he had a relationship with + it was less risky and they had won games just like Bells #1 reason. Maybe we were #1 for a while but we were not in mid Dec on and that was evident. JMO he kills it in the Big 10 if focused bc of who the Big 10 is as part of that projection. They have 2.5 good teams at best.
My question is why he didn't have a Wolverine for his Michigan announcement. Sounds to me like someone who lacks the will to follow through.
Do. Not. Want.
"When we step on that football field, everyone flips a switch. And it's on..." - Butch Jones
I read the article that you refer to. In truth, several guys who ultimately didn't sign with UT supposedly told coaches they were coming. In case you haven't been paying attention for the past 100 years or so, this happens every year. It means nothing. Every year those with level heads tell people not to get too excited until a kid actually signs. Call me crazy but I'm guessing it will happen next year also.
Crap rises to it's own level

Exactly.... and many times, especially in the 90's and early 2000's, we were that school that got players to flip when they had committed elsewhere. I think we get back to that (North and Dobbs just tip of the iceberg). As far as next year, I think we get a stud class, maybe even rivaling what Ole Miss did this year. We have this potential "Legacy Class" going for us, and if we can convince them to want to be a part of something big, 2014 could be a special recruiting class!
