ESPNU announces that Gene Chizik and @derekdooley will be recruiting analysts on this year's signing day coverage.
Safe to say I will not be watching ESPN's coverage of NSD....
You don't want to hear Dooley talk "hot sauce"?
Why not? I'm itching to watch CBJ clean up Doolander's mess and put together an excellent recruiting class on NSD. And to watch as Dooley himself is forced to analyze the whole thing? It could be glorious.
Plus, I want to see him drop a few "Rommel" comments
I think it will be HILARIOUS to watch if kids like Bell, Lawson, and North all put on Orange hats on NSD..
I'm just...wait who...wait.....
I wonder if Chizik stares at Dooleys hair long enough he can get it too move?
Dumb and Dumber

Signing Day...A player's last chance to play the coaches...Not losing sleep that I will be in studio on this day. http://espnmediazone.com/us/press-releases/2013/01/espnu-expands-national-signing-day-presence-for-the-eighth-consecutive-year/ …
The fact that Dooley would say something like this is further proof to me that he's better off in the studio than coaching on the sidelines. I know it's just his personality, but the dude comes off as self righteous, petty, and bitter.
Actually, the more I think about it, the more excited I am to watch Dooley stutter and struggle to come up for excuses as to why Tennessee's recruiting class is far better off without him.
I don't hate the man, but it could be fun to watch him make a fool of himself on national television.
Definitely one helluva a statement.... I was suprised by some of his "top 10" tweets, but this tells me a lot about what he thought of recruiting.
I love watching Dooley's commentary. He's hilarious. Wonder what he is going to say when asked the question on why he couldn't have done that. IMO I think he needs to say off the sideline and become a analyst.
I definitely think that Dooley wasn't committed to putting in the necessary time and effort required to land the top notch recruits. The constant staff turnover didn't help, especially last year when he brought in coaches who were like him in personality (think Sunseri, et al). IMO, coaches have to be as dedicated to recruiting as body builders are to working out. It may not be the most pleasant thing in the world, even painful at times, but given time the results will speak for themselves. I think CBJ and his staff "get it", so to speak, and it's starting show in the work they've done with these recruits.
Aren't you guys at least glad Dooley's getting some work..........he is out of a job ya know. Probably needs the money
it's his constant defeatest attitude that i'm utterly amazed. He is one strange guy. What should be the lifeblood of your program, he seemed to despise the most. It's almost like he didn't even like being around the kids. He certainly didn't like being around the fans or boosters.
So over/under of the % chance Dooley has no idea who some of the "big name" targets who might sign with us?
Potential Dooley comment: "Bell, Lawson? Where were kids like this when I was coaching UT..."
Did ESPN bring them on to actually talk about recruiting, or are they gonna have their audience vote on who has the better hair?
Wonder if he'll be able to fit his Rommel skit in?
He was not a good coach but I still love Dooley!
"Where's Lawson? Where's Von Bell?"
Or former players. Come to think about it, not sure what he really liked about Coaching.
He is MADE for TV.
Can't wait to see what hair style Dooley comes out in!
