He is hammering Jay Graham this morning
Said he was scared and quit. #shotsfired
I really would like to hear the reason, it was kinda quick lol
From Carolina to Tennessee, Rocky Top is always Home Sweet Home to Me!!!
Ainge is saying that Butch went time him and said stay. He offered him the same amount of money that FSU is offering. Ainge quoted a source as saying Graham thought FSU was is in a "better position".
Sounds like Graham didn't want to work as hard as Jones wants his coaches to work. Looks like an Eddie Gran type situation to me.
Good luck To Jay. I am disappointed in his decision, but I suppose he made what he thought was the best decision for his career. We all do this daily. I love my job and am very loyal to the educational institution I work for, but I listen when offers come my way, and I suspect that one day an offer that I feel is too good to pass up will come my way. I can't blame Jay for doing the same thing. At least he didn't go to Bama....

Care to elaborate
"People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf."
Dooley didn't work near as hard on the recruiting trail, as Jones seems to want to. Jay probably thought that it would be rather easy for him to recruit to his alma mater, and took the job figuring Dooley wouldn't get fired. Once Jay got here and realized that it was 10x harder here to do what he did at USCe, he was looking for an out, and yet there wasn't a comparable job out there when Jones took over here at UT. Also, I'm sure that Jay probably wanted to just get through NSD, and then look at other options, which is rather clear that's probably what has happened. Jay went to a school, where it's MUCH easier to recruit, and he probably doesn't have to leave the state of FL to do so, ala Eddie Gran.
Gaterhatereric posting truth.....
Eddie Gran left because of the circus act
No he didn't. He left because the work load that he was expected to carry was a lot more than what he was used to at Auburn with Tubbs.
