It will be interesting to see if his philosophy can work in Hollywood. Best of luck and keep your wife away from the football coach...although you shouldn't have to worry about that much longer.

I don't think that is a very good job, but I understand why he took it. What does he have to lose? He is rich. He will survive if he loses. So where does Ben howland land?
There are only four answers to any question: Yes, No, I don't know, or the Correct Answer.
Safe to say nobody helped themselves in the tourney more than he did.
This is why I'm glad Butch Jones acts like this is his dream job. Once he turns us around he's going to get NFL offers as well as other college offers. Thankfully Tennessee has the resources to keep good coaches around.
"Give him six" "We don't give a damn about the whole state of Alabama" "Grit N Grind"
Does USC buy into Franklin's theory? Definitely the two hottest wives in coaching.
I can't believe how much LA college basketball underachieved with these two hirings. Nothing against Steve Alford and Mark Enfield but you would think UCLA and USC could do better. For the life of me I can't figure out how Alford is a better coach than Ben Howland and Enfield simply doesn't have the track record of success to deserve a high profile job like USC.
They both don't pay what they should, and UCLA is delusional in what they perceive as successful. I said above that I think the USC job is not very good. It is better than Florida Gulf Coast sure, but I am not sure how much better it is.
