There are only two kinds of beer.... Miller Lite and free beer
I'm sure this has been said but my immediate answer is 'COLD ONES'. Now that that's out of the way, I like Stella Artois and Sweetwater 420 draft and Dos Equis or Landshark in the bottle.
Free cold Miller Lite.
SIAP. beeradvocate.com. Great place to get way too much info. A good, almost local brewery to Knoxville is Highland Brewing Company in Asheville. Their Gaelic Ale has been near the top of my list for a while.
Must be Cold and must be in a bottle.
2. Fat Tire
Trample the Weak-Hurdle the Dead
Agreed. I love a good IPA. I've also had several bad ones. I find that hops are like heat in hot sauce; they should only enhance flavor and aroma but not be the only noticeable ingredient. Anyone in the MD/VA area should try the Snakedog IPA made by Flying Dog in Frederick, MD. It's a pretty good beer. +1 to you RT ATL, as always!
No worries, my friend! It's a crime against humanity to get upset with someone in a thread this good!
I would love to tip a few with you someday, WVA. I could not agree more.
Also agree with Gregg about Highland Brewing. My wife as in Asheville last week and brought me an assortment from that area. One that jumped out was Hoppyum, brewed by Foothills Brewing in Winston Salem. Extra tasty!
Tilburg's Dutch Brown Ale
First round is on me!!!
I had another good Wisconsin beer tonight - Stevens Point Burly Brown. Full of flavor!
"Count it down with me. Five, four, three, two, one.
The national champion is clad in Big Orange!"
Paulaner or Mission St Hefeweisen at Trader Joes
Founders Red's rye
Bells two hearted
Six point Bengali tiger
Great Lakes Christmas ale
Going out to Denver in a couple weeks and then Oregon for the game. Looking forward to trying some good ones in both places.
I'll use this thread getting bumped as an opportunity to spread the word about Knox Beer Week.
Rucker, I expect full coverage!
