Twitter feed states that Dooley is out and AD is getting ready to move.
And that Gruden is in play.
I have no idea whether this source is reputable. They are an uncredentialed media source FWIW.
The same source guaranteed that Randy Shannon was going to replace Justin Wilcox as Defensive Coordinator. Dooley of course hired Sal Sunseri.
Senior Writer, govols247
FeelsLike98 still says Shannon was almost under contract. They stand by that FWIW. They mentioned that today.
I know one of the guys who runs FeelsLike98; I even went to high school with him, and his brother is a personal friend of mine. Having said that, I wouldn't believe a word he said until a more credible journalist such as Wes or Ryan confirmed it.
My general rule of thumb: if it ain't on here, I don't believe it!
Good policy for this silly season thats about to begin...
If you hear it from a reputable source (i.e. a real media member or someone with a reputable record) ask the staff here what they think. If nothing else they can tell you what the perception is even if their sources don't confirm.
If it comes from one of the sensationalist blogs like 98, OKTC, etc. wait for a real media member, either from this staff or another, to report it before you bet the house on it. Or even waste time thinking about it.
"Count it down with me. Five, four, three, two, one.
The national champion is clad in Big Orange!"
Y'all should read the twitter timeline. They are getting abused. Pretty funny.
What is it? I don't follow it.

NM... Forgot the link was at the top...
Why are people even following FeelsLike98? What they do best is fling poo at the wall and hope some of it sticks...
"Bravely taking to his feet, he beat a very brave retreat." Sir Robin's Minstrels.
I love it! You are much more eloquent than I, sir. *doffs hat*
I think it's hilarious that people actually listen to what he says. I mean, I know the guy and he's a good dude but he knows no more about this stuff than anyone on here. It's the equivalent of me pulling something out of thin air, putting it on the internet and people eating it up like it came from the Wall Street Journal. Unbelievable.
Sure, sure . . . and when I was on the Hill in the mid-eighties to early nineties, I once had a torrid affair with Kathleen Turner--and I stand by that!
Anyone else remember Jon Lovitz on SNL as the pathological liar? My wife, er, uh, Morgan Fairchild . . yeah, yeah, that's it, whom I've slept with . . . that's the ticket . . .

From what i gathered from reading multiple sites Shannon was done deal till nixed by Dooley at the end. Doubt cdd has anymore sayso as far as his job securoty now..guess we will all se soon
None of us knows for sure, of course, but I can't for the life of me believe that Dooley would have allowed the process to get that far down the trail before nixing it. The way it's done almost everywhere is that the coach hires whomever he wants, within budget, and lives or dies based on their performance: see, for e.g., Fulmer, Phillip, a la Clawson, Dave. Even where the coach is told to fire certain assistants or be fired himself, he's usually allowed to decide on the replacement himself.
IF Dooley and Shannon made it that far in their own negotiations, which is hard for me to believe (assuming there were serious negotiations between them at all), one of the two almost had to change their minds about something or other, or they would have realized far sooner that it just wasn't going to work.
FL98 is one centimeter above The National Enquirer.
They also said back in the summer that Derrick Henry was a silent commit for us.
And so the crap fest begins
uh, no. Those guys are not credible sources. They do this site as kind of a joke...
