The recruiting class of '12 DD, had Cross committed...6' 1" 220 lbs. rb, rated 5.7 rivals/ 87 rating by 24/7..
then he turned his attention to A.Hill rb from Ohio (3-star) & IC decomitted & signed with Nebraska.
2012 stats for Cross- 55 carries, 324 yds, 5.9 ypc, 7 tds.....A.Hill did not play as a frosh. Sometimes the answer
is obvious, glad we have CBJ on board.

I watched him some this year. Him and Ameer Abdullah will do really well at RB for them next year.
I didn't think Hill was the reason for Cross leaving
Worse than that I think they told Cross to look elsewhere. Why not sign both?
Sand you get a bingo!
Yeah I remember that but I thought had more to do with a numbers crunch than Hill but I guess those could go together

This...that fooley was a great unrecruiter...
You also have to remember that Cross was not facing the Bama, LSU, Georgia, South Carolina, or even the Miss. St. defenses - so those numbers would likely not have looked similar had he come to UT.
Hill had mono last year, so I don't really understand how anyone can make a fair judgement at this point.
That's one thing the Big Ten does well is run the football. They tend to lose to the SEC due to speed. Nebraska tends to recruit running backs well so if they liked him maybe Dooley should have analyzed a little less. Who were Alden Hill's other offers?
No argument from me there. I liked Cross. I was simply saying that Hill got mono and was behind, what I still think are two, pretty good backs. Are Neal and lane Bo Jackson? Maybe not. But I am not sure that Cross would be the starter here.
I know we missed out on him but I'm also a big Nebraska fan due to my moms side of the family living up there so it's a win loss, loss win for me
Here you go, Sandvol, had to go look my self.
