What about them braves everybody better watch out for them this time it's about time We are due for a World Series !!!!
Chipper has been "clutch". He needs to go out on top. Let's go Braves!
Freeman makes the final out last year then sends the braves to the playoffs this year. Going all the way for Chipper
Excuse my language but I'm pumped as hell
Oh yeah what about winning 22 consecutive starts by Kris Medlen. That kid is a stud. Still have goose bumps from the bomb by Freeman
I'm legitimately going to feel a little bad for the Braves (and Chipper, of course) when the Cardinals beat them in the one-game playoff.

Sorry Ryan but I love my Braves!
The Braves will pitch Medlen that game. Cards have no chance.
Ryan y'all will not beat us at the Ted this is our year for chipper
Wish Chipper the very best until the NLCS, when he won't be able to touch the Reds pitching. Reds and pitching, who would have thought it!?!
"Old School"! A strong defense wins championships!
Good luck to y'all but we will see how it goes y'all will have to play the giants Probably
I like the Braves' pitching better than the Reds'. I see a bunch of regular-season stars in the Reds' rotation who may not be able to dominate in the postseason. For that matter, Cueto already is falling off.

Great point Ryan I was just getting ready to say that but for the record I hope we don't play the cards and win the division that would be sweet
For the record, I'm mostly joking about the Cardinals definitely taking out the Braves. I think the Braves' lineup may cool off in the playoffs, but their pitching scares me, especially Medlen in a one-game playoff.
Also, this Cardinals team is as mind-boggling as any in recent memory, so I have no confidence in them being able to beat anybody. But if I'm another team, I would want nothing to do with them, especially after last year - and with Chris Carpenter now back in the rotation.
Bro it's all good and fun but I got tickets to go next week so it should be a great time!!
Not "falling off", he's resting up for the Series!
I'm hoping I can go next Friday if they play the Cardinals, but that's also my sister-in-law's due date. Going to be a photo finish.
Going to be a close one for you if you go let me know would love to meet you!
Actually, I should point out that Cueto now has had back-to-back strong starts after beating the Brewers tonight, so he appears to be rounding back into form. Good timing.
If I'm a Reds fan, I feel good about Cueto and Latos. I wouldn't feel great about Arroyo and Leake or Bailey being my No. 3 and No. 4 starters. Arroyo has had a good year, but I'm just skeptical about whether he'll be able to do it in the playoffs. I think most of the NL playoff teams will have stronger No. 3 and No. 4 starters than the Reds, but we'll see. Maybe I'm underestimating them.
Wish I had something to add to this thread.
Alas, I do not.

The way the Nats' tent is folding, I wouldn't definitely count out the Braves for the Division. Stranger things nave happened.
Should be a very interesting playoffs for the National League. I have been a Reds fan since the 70's, but I do not follow them as passionately as I do the Big Orange for the Vikings. However, if their pitching can maintain the season's pace, and Votto & Co. get hot bats, this may be their year. If Arroyo or Leake can just keep it competitive until closing time, Chapman is the man!
With that said, Put Pete in the HOF! Two great injustices in their respective Hall of Fame is not having Charlie Hustle in the Baseball HOF and Jim Marshall in the Football HOF!
You are wrong, won't happen.
Ryan, at least I do not want to admit that this is a very real possibility. As you saw last year, you can't ever count out the cards.

NC, as I mentioned earlier, I was kidding about being that confident in the Cardinals knocking off the Braves. I don't know that I would want to play the Cardinals if I was another team, but it's hard not to feel good about the Braves' chances with Medlen on the mound in a one-game playoff.
