I just got one of these refurbed for under $300. Anyone have suggestions on a good case? I got one at walmart last night but hate it and am returning it.
Also, any fun free games besides the "with friends" ones?
If you want a case for maximum protection the best is probably the Otterbox. Keep in mind the phone is already huge so an Otterbox will make it massive. Style wise they make really nice leather cases that flip open. Almost no protection, but they look nice.
For games, right now I play Candy Crush and Funrun. Candy Crush is like bejeweled and Funrun is the dumbest game I've ever seen, but I still play it for some reason.
Oh I got the tablet, not the phone. And im already thinking it might be too big. I don't know. I've got 7 days to decide and return for full refund.
This downvoter is ridiculous. Kevin Ryan, do something.
Got ya plus one. I have a similar problem. The note 10.1 is pretty awesome. I have the note 2 as a phone. You can buy a refub ipad mini right now from apple for 299.00 or just get a new one for 329.00. I could debate phones all day, but I have to admit that the Ipad still the best tablet on the market.

There are only four answers to any question: Yes, No, I don't know, or the Correct Answer.
Please God not another phone debate. I'd ALMOST rather debate black jerseys.
What about for reading? Would I be better off just getting a kindle?
It's a TABLET debate. Way cooler and more sophisticated :)
Nah no phone debate. I have owned both the iPhone 5, and the Galaxy Note 2. Equal in many ways. Very much to each his own. Played with both android tablets and ipads. At the moment the ipads still beat android tablets especially in gaming. Reading would be a draw for me.
I just got a kindle fire hd and to me it's perfect if you just want a bigger version of your smart phone or something to read, play games, or stream movies . It's loud and very clear
Gave you an up vote.
Your team. All the time.
I am not a fan of apple. So i avoid their stuff.
I love the stylus and the potential for watching streaming stuff online on the 10.1 (I don't have cable), but it's too big for one hand and a bit heavy. I am debating returning it and getting a Nexus 7.
But if I keep this, I'll need a cover that's better than the one I got last night. Thing is awful.
Got ya for +1 across all your posts!
Galaxy Tab 2 is awesome, and you can buy it in a 7". It's only $199, but it can basically do the same things as the Note.
1 Corinthians 16:13 Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.
I got you a +1 man! I got a droid X2 and im about to throw this little piece of crap out the window.. getting iphone next sat and cant get here soon enough!!
Had to jump in b/c I just bought a tab 10.1 new for $269 w/ disc. at Office Max just yest (not received yet). I liked the size of the 7 in. tab too, but it only had 8 GB and apps will quickly eat that up. The expanded micro SD memory only stores your music and photos, etc. but you can't save apps on it. The Note is a very good choice, if I wanted to spend that much. I don't think you will go wrong with it. If I were to get a 7 in., I would look at the Nexus. If you have kids (like mine) better encase it in concrete.
My bad. Should've paid more attention. But the cases still apply. They have really nice leather ones and Otterbox for the tablet too last I checked. And you got a good deal on it for the price you paid.
Hahaha. No kids. I am the most indecisive person in the world about this stuff...
Otterbox is definitely the way to go. I don't think they make a Lifeproof case for the Note 10.1" yet.
The case you SHOULD be using is a Trojan.
It is a proven product.....
It's been known to bust :)
