I've seen it mentioned multiple times, including in the hot board, that Gruden didn't always enjoy coaching young players in the NFL. What's the basis of that statement? I'm not questioning it -- goodness knows I trust the reporting done on this site. But has Gruden openly said that before, or is it coming from others' observations?
I'm just interested in learning more about his stance there, particularly because he seems to enthusiastically dive into film with rookies during ESBN pre-draft features.

While I was in the Air Force I found it much easier to work with the older veterans than the young rookies. This was true regardless of crew position. I'm fairly certain this would be true in most, if no all, career fields.
