I think everybody has speculated about Dallas and Philly, but what other teams do you think might be looking for a coach this offseason?
Probably Panthers, Chiefs, Jets, Titans, Raiders
I don't believe he will be in play in either place. In Philly it will be organizational reasons and in Dallas it will be Gruden reasons.
Good call Slim on Chargers

I see Dallas as the perfect pro fit for Gruden. He could take over a fading 'America's Team' and become a coaching and marketing monster. I just don't know if JJ will share the limelight and the decision making.
I read on Gruden's Wikipedia page that he was born in Sandusky, Ohio, and he grew up a Browns fan. You don't think . . . . ?
and your last sentence is why Gruden will not end up in Dallas.
Panthers fan here. I think there's a pretty good chance the HC job will be open, but I don't see Jerry Richardson paying Gruden the kind of money he'll demand. I agree with Slim. San Diego may be the team to beat.

Agreed, also a Panthers fan, and although I would prefer to see Gruden in orange, if he was wearing black and blue I wouldn't be too upset. With that said, I don't think Mr. Richardson will spend the kind of money (or give up the control) Gruden will command.
if gruden doesn't come to the hill,i hope he ends up in dallas. just like with the vols i've always been a dallas fan. one big difference though,it does not bother near as much when dallas loses. sure was great to be a vols and dallas fan in the 90's. my portland panthers weren't to bad in the 90's also.
GO BIG ORANGE!!!
GO BIG ORANGE!!!
Charlotte wouldn't be terribly far from East Tennessee, which might be the NFL situation for "mama"
That def couldn't hurt
and for conversation add Dallas and SD and Philly......
Which of those have a veteran QB and veteran players?
Which would give him total control or has a GM that would work under Gruden to a point?
Most think warm weather climate too
Ownership that is solid and well thought of too
I dont see him with a "dumb" qb that is not a film nerd either if they have a solid starter.
IMO this eliminates Dallas, SD (fired a 2 loss coach and the Mannings exposed what many think of SD), Panthers, Titans, Jets, and Philly.
Could he trade for a QB for KC? Would he want to go there? Not a fit IMO
Return to Oak? Nah
Is there another team? Seems to me unless a major change in one of these teams at QB or GM/ownership or power turned over then Gruden would not go to any of them
Been saying for a while that Panthers are a perfect fit for Gruden. Good talent and a QB he can work with plus it is close enough to his wife's family. It is a perfect setup for him.
I'd go with San Diego and Charlotte because they have talented QBs in place, they're in warmer parts of the country, and there is minimal owner interference.
