Mike Griffith @MikeGriffith32
Haven't said much about Gruden rumors, but got call today, source says UT would pay Gruden more than Saban & give $$$ for all-star staff
This getting very very aggravating
There is defiantly something fishy going on fo show...
Mike Griffith is a solid, seasoned reporter and wouldn't report anything unless he was sure. Pretty obvious there's a lot of different information coming from the administration side and the booster side. My take is the actual journalists are the only ones who can be trusted and even some of them are bound to get caught in the hype. Examples: Haskew in Chattanooga and Carver in Memphis.
I think its finally becoming clear that the boosters want Gruden and Hart does not. If so, Hart's days are numbered.

My take is that Gruden doesn't really want to coach at the college level, but we are trying to make him an offer that he can't refuse. Of course, I don't know anymore than anyone on here, so it's just speculation.
But if Hart didn't want the guy, he sure doesn't show it by putting a lucrative offer out there on the table like he apparently did.
There is nothing clear in this regard. Other than third hand info (at best) no one really knows what is going on. To say something is clear and to come to a conclusion based on half accuracies and speculation is illogical.
