We could certainly do worse I suppose, but would have a hard time getting excited about it.
I for one would not be excited one bit.
It would take time for me to get really pumped about it.
Not just because I don't really know him, but also because he would be leaving NC within a year of being hired. After the Kiffin mess, any coach that is willing to do that makes me uneasy.
Not at all. Either Gruden or Strong for me.

Fedora is awesome. He's one of those offensive gurus who always scores tons of points even with walkons and random two stars at QB.
Plus, I've always wanted an excuse to buy an orange fedora.
I dont think I will actually be excited about any hire outside of Gruden, Strong, or Stoops which I dont think he is really a possibility. I think there should be several guys in front of fedora it doesnt look like he has done anything other than one good season at southern miss.

Fedora would kill it at Tn
I would live with it.

He would have to hire an awesome defense. We all seen how a bad defense with a great offense works in the sec
I'd still pull for the VOLS, but I just don't see why he would be any better option than Dooley was when UT hired him.
Small college coach when moved to ACC and hasn't been overwhelming.
I'll pass on him.
He would be a great coach at Tennessee! Most people would need time to getuse to it though... I wouldn't mind it
"Count it down with me. Five, four, three, two, one.
The national champion is clad in Big Orange!"
Not at all!!!
I would not be very excited, but I suppose the silver lining would be that if we "settled" for Fedora, there would perceivably be a better chance we retain Graham and Pittman, since I do not see Fedora having the leverage to come in here and blow out everybody on the previous staff.
Again, I wouldn't be that excited, but I'll still go to the games and hope we get this thing turned around.
I would not. Offensive mind, but I would worry about defense. I'd also worry about someone that jumped ship after one year, although it is the ACC and UNC, but just one year of commitment? Record is good, but most of the wins were from a pathetic CUSA schedule.
Although I will say that UNC is pretty close to being 10-1 with really close loses at Wake Forest, at Louisville, and at Duke. Wake Forest is obviously the worst of those, but 10-1 in year one would have been unreal. He lost those 3 games by a combined 9 points. All road games.
With that being said, I still wouldn't be excited. Okay with it, yes, but excited, no.

Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves.
I'm warming up to it for sure. I understand we all want to get the home run hire, but it's hard to overlook his results so far. Those recruiting ties in Mississippi and down south certainly wouldn't, niether would recruiting in North Carolina which I don't even need to mention why thats important. I dunno, he seems like a winner. His recruiting class is also pretty solid especially for North Carolina. Looks like he can 'cruit.

If it is true that Strong, who has significant experience in the SEC compared to Fedora's one year at UF under Zook, is interersted and we take Fedora, I'll be really disappointed.
This cat do not want that hat!
Not at all. Hiring fedora is exactly why I wanted Dooley to make it another year, he seems like an 8 win kind of coach at best.
Satisfied not excited. I would hold my excitement or lack thereof until after his first recruiting class and season.
Yay. And that's a soft spoken yay while twirling my finger in the air.
Losing to Duke and Wake Forest would give me reason to think about this as a hire. But if it gets down to him as our only choice after Gruden, Stoopes, Fisher, Strong, then I'll support him wholeheartedly.
