Did anyone watch the press conference when he was asked the question about MrSEC? You're telling me that everyone heard about this article except Dooley and his staff? His response seemed a little bit too rehearsed for, especially with a personal anecdote two seconds later. Surely I'm not alone?
Agree with you!
Can't agree with your implication. The story was posted this morning at 10:12 am (not sure if Central or Eastern). Of course, the Vols are practicing then and the press conference is pretty much right after practice. It's extremely far-fetched to imagine that CDD could possibly have seen it, much less to believe that he surely did.

"Bravely taking to his feet, he beat a very brave retreat." Sir Robin's Minstrels.
The part that got me was Dooley said he never went and offered to resign like his HS coach said he did, what was reported was Dooley went in and said he would step aside with his 5 million buyout. There is a big difference in the 2 situations.
Dooley was right he would have been a dumbazz if he went to Hart's office and offered to quit no strings attached, but that isn't what was reported.
IF DD went in and said I'll resign but I get a 5 million buyout, I think that would be him being arrogant and kind of giving Hart a screw you, you can't fire me because I have 5 million dollar buyout. And the sad thing, I think CDD is that confident/arrogant.
Don't think he saw it...he does seem pretty at ease for a guy sitting on a flaming seat.
Your team. All the time.
As honest and candid as Dooley is - I think he was being sincere. I don't think they spend much time reading content on websites such as that one (i know i dont!). He didn't even know who the writer was- that should tell you something.
The rumors over the next few weeks will be crazy and other sites will be pumping out sensationalistic content without any ground to stand on. Makes me appreciate the integrity of this site more and more each day. Thank you Ryan and Wes.
I mean I've never checked that website either, but thanks to twitter I knew about it.
Actually, I doubt anyone reads that blog on a regular basis.
I am sure Sal would leave Bama for to come coach for Dooley who wanted out....and other assistants too. This would have come out somewhere months ago too.
OP, I'm very careful before I call someone a liar - especially when it's just an opinion backed up by zero facts. I think it's fair to question his performance, coaching ability, etc., but to call his integrity into question without proof is over the line in my opinion.
