How many do they score on us? In our current state of affairs on D this year I cant imagine the carnage but do we have a shot next year if things stay AS IS staff wise?
IT TAKES NO TALENT TO HUSTLE
They'll put up lots and lots of points against our secondary.
+1 for excellent use of smilies, alone.
"Bravely taking to his feet, he beat a very brave retreat." Sir Robin's Minstrels.
JMO. they exceed what they put on us in 2010 no matter who is on the D staff.. a change in staff is not fixing all that hurts this defense...
Agreed. It would be a good year to pull a couple of Dale Carter type Juco studs to plug into the secondary and while we're at it another pass rusher or two like the late Chris Mims and Leonard Little were straight out of JC back in the day "To really set the edge"
Would love to see that, but are they out there?
If we played Oregon this Saturday they would probably drop at least 50 on us.
Saying that, I believe our defense will be much improved next year. I'm excited about McNeil, Coleman, Randolph, and Bonner. Hopefully Eric "Feisty" Gordon can improve during the off-season, and there is our starting secondary. Looks formidable to me. If AJ can get a little, just a little, faster and Curt heals from Eddie George disease, watch out !!! Assuming McCullers and Sentimore stays, it's going to be a much improved defense, IMO. One more off-season in this scheme and I think we have a top 20 defense (which if we had this year, we could possibly be 7-1), if not better. But, Oregon is very fast on offense. It'll be fun and very scary to watch.
