Alcohol will be served at the CFA Kickoff game on Friday until the start of the 3rd quarter. Unless you are in a suite, of course.
My husband will be happy to hear that!
Load up at halfftime, fellas.
Can you brink beer into the GA Dome from the outside in a cooler or anything? That would be awesome and cause some drunk and rowdy TN fans!
423- is that a bird dog in your signature?

No. You are searched upon entry.
You will have to start attending Nascar races if you want to bring a cooler full of beer with you. I had mine packed with cold ones last Saturday night at BMS.
Anyone know what the policy on cameras is for the game?
I have always had the rule.......if I pick up 1, I pick up 6-12. Thats going to be a costly $42-$84.
I cant wait to look at my dad and say I have no idea how we are getting home bc I just spent all our gas money on beer.
(and then I will totally redeem myself with a quick trade)
Sure is. That's my buddy, Toby. Got him at 6 weeks as a Rescue Puppy in Collierville/SE Memphis a few years ago. They told us he was a Beagle and Jack Russell mix, but the two vets we have been to say he is a bird dog. He's got some cool spots that developed once he hit 1 year. Great dog! I wish I had more time when he was younger, because he would have been a great hunting dog...
Funny and very true story...
My buddy's dad is a big UT fan, and I've been to a few games with him before. Anyways, the man likes to have 'a few' drinks during the games (more than a few, and also before/during/after the game). Well, you can't take alcohol into Neyland, unless you flask it and don't get caught. However, this guy needs more than will fit in a flask, so he gets none other than a medical colostomy bag -- the big that attaches to your colon exit that collects your feces -- and empties a good 6 or 12 pack of beer into it. He undoubtedly gets searched since he has this large bag inside his shirt/pants that is full of something that you can hear sloshing around. When asked what it is, he tells them he just had surgery and needs the bag to collect his stools. He then grabs the changing zipper, while offering to open and allow the security person to see for themselves, and immediately the security person tells him that it won't be necessary to show them. He'll then go buy a large drink, pour it out, and then proceed to drink his heart out.
So, if you ever want to take a large quantity of alcohol into an event, consider a colostomy bag...

Dang man I missed that one. But I loved Smoke throwing his helmet.
I've never brought one in there, but I do remember seeing flashes, so I'm guessing they are legal.
Isn't it only sold in the mezzanine section?
No, its sold on all levels. On the club level (200's) they have special bars set up to only serve mixed drinks but you can get them on other levels. It's much easier to get beer and wine though.
Dome website says small personal cameras are allowed at non-NFL events.
I see no statement, however, that says specifically that beer will be sold. The website says alcohol is served at "most" Dome events. But I don't think it was at past SEC Championships and at Chick-Fil-A Bowls that I attended.
i've gotta a couple of bird dogs myself- they are wonderful hunting companions and competitors...i've never seen one that didn't have a ton of personality
I saw it in a tweet from the Georgia Dome that was RT by Tennessee.
I married a beautiful, well endowed lady who can fit two flasks in her bra. She's a champ about it, but this is the most awesome/perfect definition of alcoholism I've ever read. Your friend's creativity is a commitment to excellence.
"Count it down with me. Five, four, three, two, one.
The national champion is clad in Big Orange!"
i'm lucky enough to be in the same boat as you on this one, that may have been why i picked her.....
