I mean this totally sucks to lose to Alabama like this. It is definitely gut wrenching, however it is hard to overlook the fact that all 3-4 records are not equal. We have lost to 4 top 15 ranked teams which two if those teams currently are going to be No.1 and No.2 in the BCS. We should take the last 4 games which makes 7 wins, but next week is not a guaranteed loss. How much of a hangover will South Carolina have from the past 2 weeks? I don't know I am as disappointed as the next but I still want to see this thing play out.
I couldn't agree more 'rock. It seems the next game is always the critical game and at this stage of the season, South Carolina IS the make or break game. Although the Vols can still salvage the season meeting most pre-season expectations with a 7-5 record, I'm afraid another loss to another ranked team will keep the "Fire Dooley" talk at the forefront.
We really need some hope. Beating USCe and sweeping November would be a major accomplishment at this stage.
"Old School"! A strong defense wins championships!
27-1 is the combined record of the 4 teams we lost to- enough said.
WOW! That is scary. I knew we were playing top teams, (with the exception of Miss State - still not sold on them), but to see it in black and white is thought provoking. I thought this year's schedule was supposed to be easier.
