Not stalking recruits, this was sent to me and I confirmed it as legit. Just passing it along for fun...
Gruden is goin to Tennessee!????
If he does then I know where I would be going! He is an amazing coach!
He would absolutely kill it in recruiting. Who wouldn't want to play for him?

"Bravely taking to his feet, he beat a very brave retreat." Sir Robin's Minstrels.
When looking at the successful coaching hires over the past decade there are two things that really stick out and that these coaches have:
Confidence/charisma: the successful coaches all have it (saban, spurrior, stoops) and tell me how much better gruden would look walking up and down the sidelines than Dooley. Not to mention how gruden walking into a 17 y/o players living room would be.
Full support: when saban or spurrior was hired you didn't hear anyone say they didn't want him. Gruden would immediately get buts in the seats and tv cameras in Knoxville. 90% of the fan base would support the hire.
Gruden is the first guy to go after.
Go ask the recruits that commited to Tennesse in the last four years of Fulmers career if they had any doubt hed be fired or USC the year before Pete bolted to NFL. There are so many more examples of situations like this. This doesnt hold up nobody knows what will happen. If Gruden comes to UT he is here for at least one class to come and graduate because his contract wont be less than 5 years and his buyout would be ridiculous.
I have had season tickets for years and decided this year not to renew them.
I will go on record, not that it means anything to anyone, but if Jon Gruden is hired, I immediately call and order season tickets again!
We dropped our two years ago. I believe Gruden is a pipe dream, but if he were to be hired I am calling same day.
+1. And this is exactly what our athletic department needs right now. I am beyond positive that you wouldn't be the only one.
If Gruden wants an NFL job he can get one now. If he comes here it will be because he wants to be a college coach. He wouldn't be using UT as a stepping stone, no matter what some people seem to think. He doesn't need to.
Would he finish his career here? I doubt it, but few coaches do stay in one place that long.
