I won't pretend this isn't rock bottom for us. But the next coach is going to inherit a solid roster with some talent. This isn't a rebuilding job, it's a re-coaching job and with the right coach we could turn around pretty quickly. The best example is UCLA - Neuheisel recruited talent, he just couldn't coach them. Then along comes Jim Mora, Jr. and gets that talent playing and they turn everything around. This can happen here - with the right coach.
Fair point that I have also said here in the house. Much more to work with than Dooley inherited. Right guy and this thing turns quickly. Still a pretty low point for us tonight.
There are only four answers to any question: Yes, No, I don't know, or the Correct Answer.
I think UT will lose a lot of the JR talent currently on the roster on both sides of the ball to the NFL.
I think a lot will depend on who the new head coach and coordinators are. I'm sure CP and Patterson are gone and most likely Bray, but if a big time hire with NFL cred comes in, I think most if not all of the rest will stick around.
