you are not the only sir.......
I am a self proclaimed equal opportunity douche bag
I apologize, I'm not trying to tell people what to do with their money. After all, it is their money. I guess I view things like this board, cable and Internet as a luxury and when times are tight I think luxuries are the first thing to go. Of course, you are talking to a guy who buys all of his cars when they are 3 years old and has 171,000 miles on his current one. I'm a strong believer in living below one's means and putting money into appreciating assets so my perspective is probably a bit extreme.

Stuff like this makes me want to scream!!!!
I am so tired of having to buy off brands while those choosing not to work are buying Mayfield milk, steak, etc. I was once in line behind a guy and his wife at a grocery store who had a buggy full of groceries and started complaining because he had spend $334 on groceries...$4 over his food stamp total and started fussing with the store manager because he wouldn't give him the extra $4 in groceries. The manager stood his ground and all the other shoppers started clapping as the guy walked off. I'm so worried for my kids and future grandkids. We are creating a country who thinks everything should be handed to them instead of working/earning it.
These programs use to be in place to help people who hit a rough patch, now many people consider it a life style.
