If I need to take a test or two please point me in the right direction...
There is nothing wrong with change, if it is in the right direction. - Winston Churchill
Sounds like what he is really missing is a qualifying ACT score. I think I saw somewhere (Maybe Twitter or VQ) that he has had an excellent year in the class room. His knee injury prohibited him from being a four star. The more I read about this kid, the more I like him. He also seems to be the exact type of back that could really do well in this type of offense. If we could get Bell, Dobbs, Miller, Brown, and Ford, I would love this class. Even if we get just a couple of those (especially Bell), it is a pretty good class that also saves room to sign a big class next year.
One other thing, he looks to me to be better that any back we brought in last year. There was some optimism about Hill, Watson and Borgue. This guy looks better than all of them and probably better than Tom Smith. If we don't get Ford, I could see this guy being the backup to Neal and Lane.
He is 5-10 180 now........good chance to be 190+ by 2014. He will be a perfect complement to Lane in his SR year. Add to that we probably do finally get a stud RB like J Hurd or ? in the 2014 class.
But I like the potential of Jabo and esp when you pair him with Lane in 2014.
We don't need a stud RB this year. Would have been nice, but we have to get our guy next year. Will be nice if Jabo develops but its extremely likely that Lane's competition for 2014 is in high school, unless UT gets Ford.
