Fulmer to Kentucky
Would he be the first coach to fire the same two assistants twice?
God, I hope not. I would hate to see him in Blue.
nice screen name
The early names I seen were
to the board! Happy to have you here!
Gotta admit, I chuckled at your screen name.

How can UK fire him it is only his 3rd season and he has 4 SEC wins?
Welcome to the CheckerBoard CR. I agree with you. There's something disconcerting about seeing Fulmer sporting Kentucky colors. +1
BUTCH IS NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART. GO VOLS!
I don't think Cut would leave Duke for that job. I think they should look at Dykes, the guy at NIU (Dorien?), and maybe the guy at FIU (can't spell his name and don't know a whole lot about him).
Could you imagine Petrino and Cal together?
I don't think Cut would do it either. What abiut Willie Taggert?
It's Taggert's job to lose probably. Petrino will have better offers I'm sure.
Lexington's economy would never be better. Snake oil sales would be at an all-time high.
I think Taggart would be a good choice for UK. I assume they'll try to find an up and comer, but the problem is anyone who has any success will probably leave in a few years. They might be better off with a Rich Brooks or Bill Curry-type hire (someone who is approaching retirement but had some success in the past or maybe someone who had some success but also had enough failure to not leave again). I don't know what names come to mind, but maybe Tyrone Willingham, who is coaching women's golf at Stanford right now or Tedford who is on the hot seat at Cal.

"Bravely taking to his feet, he beat a very brave retreat." Sir Robin's Minstrels.
I'm thinking an atmosphere similar to a brothel crossed with a casino. It'll be the Wild West...
Petrino is a saint compared to Cal.
So . . . think Mustang Ranch crossed with the Flamingo?
Whatever the case, I'm sure Petrino would ride the new staff hard.
Smart to get rid of him asap and get the lead on getting a coach prior to other teams announcing openings that are better jobs.
Dang. That would be a whole lotta blue! Lol
I have been in KY the last few days and Petrino is all they are talking about on their sports talk.
