That not that terrible...I'd take CP and our O would be fine. Hunter is gone but he's making a big mistake as is bray but honestly bray is the one I'd want back the least of the three.
drizz, I'm a fan of your posts generally, but I'm not sure why unproven is synonymous with bad or terrible. I share your hesitation to say that the WRs in waiting are going to be the next coming, but these are some awesome athletes, and all it takes is one or two games of any of those guys going crazy and you've got your defensive double coverage guy for the rest of the season. College football is nothing but an assembly line, and while we've been relying a lot on JHunt, CP, & Bray as the core of our scoring, I think we're sitting just fine in the position we're in. I like both Worley and Peterman to be smarter play makers than Tyler Bray. They may not break any 'passing yards in a single game' records, but I'm more interested in wins. And I think Pig & Drae are receivers akin to Z. Rogers, in that, they can play up close and be good possession receivers, but they can also have those "hey, how did he get over the coverage" kinda plays.
Anyways, I realize this point is moot until we all definitively know the status of the 3 kings. I personally think there's a good chance for 1 or 2 of them to stay, based on projected draft selection, and let's not forget, who our next coach is going to be.
I expect all 3 plus perhaps a few more.. this change is gonna cause several to consider the move
I definitely feel like if Bray had a defense in the Georgia, Miss State, South Carolina and Mizzou games he'd be much less scrutinized ... we act like he isn't an incredible talent. We won't see an offense as good as this for years if ANY of them declare. I'm confident in the guys that would be thrown in there next year because they'd have a good o-line helping them but if the big 3 leave lets quit kidding ourselves ... we will definitely not be nearly as explosive
