I read yesterday that one of the freshmen at Kentucky has stated he is entering the NBA draft. Meanwhile, I am lead to believe that the other "NBA prospects" are staying at Kentucky. If so, how does this play out knowing that 6 of the top 20 high school seniors have committed to Kentucky? Are there enough scholarships to go around? Or is Calipari borrowing a chapter from Saban's "How To Mislead A High School Athlete"? You know....where you offer 35 scholarships but only have 28 to give.

He's usually pretty good at pushing kids out of school one way or another
Good point......without a degree, that is.
Here's one opening: Their starting PG is transferring to Georgia State to be near his ailing father.
Ron Hunter was sitting in his favorite chair not long ago, watching “American Idol” when he got a call from assistant coach Darryl LaBarrie.
Nice work. Thanks.
But doesn't it just seem logical that they are going to have to "make room" for the 6 new commits? Not to mention Andrew Wiggins, he would make #7.
I know we've talked extensively about being over by one scholarship now that Darius has committed to Tennessee. I can't imagine the scenarios playing out in Calipari's mind.......hope it causes him a lot of sleepless nights and tremendous stress.
If I was a draftable Kentucky player (except for Noel) I'd be heading for the NBA now because I won't be getting those same minutes next year - and I probably won't be as draftable. Goodwin was smart to leave now because he is already in Cal's doghouse and would be buried on the bench next year.
I think you are 100% correct on this. Not to mention, with the "lackluster" results from this year's team (aka, no NCAA Tourney), how much confidence will Calipari have in the returning players (with the previously noted exception of Noel)?
