Seems like Dooley established a pretty good foundation for the program before he left - this year's SR's would have been his last Soph class, right? Since there have been so many somewhat negative posts about CDD lately, I thought I'd take a different look and see what your thoughts are.
His players did very well last year as well, he does have a plan it is just having a plan and the time to get it into place that is what some of the fans are having trouble with. Look it is Tennessee and it is the SEC, when you have to start at ground -15 and work to even get to zero you have to have some time. Will he get it? I don't know but I hope he does, I believe he is what we need and I want him to have much success this year.
all you have to do is look at the roster. it's easy to see the future is bright.
GO BIG ORANGE!!!
GO BIG ORANGE!!!
Not to disparage Dooley's guys but Sonny Dykes has brought in a bunch of JC transfers and that has really helped them.
Steve Greenberg @SN_Greenberg
#LaTech senior starter: Dykes better-liked than Dooley. Asks how you're doing 'instead of not knowing who you are.' Soon @sportingnews
Really says it all right there.
They are a success because Dooley isn't there.
Doesn't say much to me. This guy would have been a Fr or Spoh three years ago. Heck no one knows those guys' name unless they are really good.

Does anyone believe that we wouldn't be 5-0 with the same schedule?
Without a doubt, LaTech is better for Dooley having been there. Dykes has taken that foundation and improved upon it. We will also take this already solid foundation, and Dooley will continue to improve upon it.
I just heard it said on the radio: We have a bamboo team, and a chia pet fanbase. Stay the course and put on more steam.
Actually, that says nothing other than one players' opinion.
If given the time, I believe Dooley will take this program back to the glory land.
