What a job he's doing at UNC.. he's got them at 5-2 despite installing a new system on both sides of the ball. Their two losses have been by a combined 5 points, both on the road, one of them @ #16 Louisville.
and hey.. wow, they are #17 in recruiting. Not bad, Larry.
He carries some pretty smelly baggage with him from past recruiting problems, tho
Its not a stupid question until you ask it.
Do tell.. I'm unaware.
ACC isn't the SEC, Fedora wouldn't excite squat if your aiming at him to replace Dooley.
I second this ^
Notice how coaches always seem to do a great job outside of the SEC. Its simple, its easier to make changes against weaker conferences where there is alot more margin for error. There are alot better coaches on the hot seat in the SEC but they cant win because of the huge depth and competition each week brings.
great post.... +1.....
Yup! Then there are guys that do crappy jobs outside the SEC. Then they get hired for some reason at an SEC school and net much of the same results.
The victories are against:
Va Tech (off their game)
Combined record for these teams: 15-19 (mostly inferior teams)
The other loss was to Wake. Equivalent to us losing to Vandy.
JMO, but I would keep Dooley any day.
