What's worse, Kentucky basketball fans or Alabama football fans?
They can both go away
There are only four answers to any question: Yes, No, I don't know, or the Correct Answer.
That's like asking "Which is worse, a tonsillectomy or a root canal?" They're both equally awful, IMO.
I honestly feel like they are equally awful
Which one would you rather see fall into a sinkhole: Rupp Arena or Bryant-Denny Stadium?
I lived in Birmingham for a year and a half, and Auburn fans IMO were 10x worse then Bama fans... I've heard nothing good about Kentucky fans.
"Count it down with me. Five, four, three, two, one.
The national champion is clad in Big Orange!"
The most annoying to me IMO are Florida fans. I just can't handle them doing their Gator comp in front of my face. And it just chaps my you know what that they think their the chosen ones when their history of good football only dates back to when Spurrier arrived. At least Kentucky and Bama do have history.
I hate Alabama. HATE. I also hate Kentucky Basketball. My inlaws are bammers. My FIL doesn't understand why I can pull for Bama when they aren't playing Tennessee. I feel insulted when he says this.
Rupp definitely. I hate playing there.
Kentucky by a mile...
"Give him six" "We don't give a damn about the whole state of Alabama" "Grit N Grind"
BUTCH IS NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART. GO VOLS!
I was going to say its like choosing between gonnorrhea and chlamydia.
That being said...its Bama fans and its not even close.
Actually, I have a lot of respect for the true Kentucky basketball fans. Of course, they have their idiot, punk rednecks fans like every other school. But I find the true Kentucky fan has a lot of respect for the game and the players on other teams. I've been to several SEC tournaments where I have ended up sitting next to Kentucky fans (its hard not to) and had great conversations with them about basketball. Of course they know their team, but they know the other teams as well. I found that impressive.
It used to be that way with Bama fans back in the 70's and 80's. You could have a conversation with them and talk football. We may not have liked each other, but we respected each other. Since Fulmer it just seems like the respect is gone and it becomes a trash talking affair. It's a real shame what a "rivalry" has become these days. I miss sportsmanship and class.
