I'll prefice this by saying its a rumor that Dyer will be added to the roster. I have no idea of its legitimacy or truth but I personally think we don't need the kid. If he were to be here it should be an extremely short leash. Thoughts anyone?
Seems like I read he's walking on at Arkansas...
A couple Louisville fans I know seem pretty confident he's coming there... I don't want him.
I've read Tennessee, LSU, Kansas, and Arkansas. I honestly don't think anyone has any idea where he ends up, but I will say if he's made a change for the better Id take him in a heart beat.
Edit: Louisville too lol

The Michael Dyer rumor is like the football game at Bristol Motor Speedway rumor, ever so often it just pops up and makes the rounds
Grantland did an article recently where he stated that he had picked a "big" D1 school to rehab his image which stirred back up the speculation. It's actually a pretty good read if you get the chance. Bleacher Nation seems to think he's a Louisville lean.

Gruden is coming with him to assist with RBs. :-)
"I'm like Wes." --Ryan Callahan
If he comes on board then I'm happy. Could turn out great if he plays to his potential. If nothing else he creates more competition. I'm also in the Ill believe it when I see it position.
"Give him six" "We don't give a damn about the whole state of Alabama" "Grit N Grind"
Maybe he can room with Eddrick Loften....
If he comes here we will have a legit running back who can play at a high level.
I doubt, heavy emphasis on Doubt, Michael Dyer will ever play UT. The rumor mill has spun and spun on thi guy since his departure, and every time the wheel keeps spinning. It's a good question, but one that gets asked often and normally the answer is no....that's probably why no Mod has stuck their nose in here. Would love to have another RB, but I don't think it's in the cards man.
I hear Dave Clawson is close with Dyer and that they would be a package deal.
I don't think he is either but it would be nice to have him.
Dyer was a solid back. If he can stay out of trouble why wouldn't you take him? ESPECIALLY as a walk-on. Not that I think he's coming to UT.
Neyland Stadium seats 102,455 people, making it the third-largest non-racing stadium in the United States.
Dyer has land in East Tennessee and Basilio says he's in the plane with Lovie
And for those who know soccer:
I think the risk is that if UT takes him and he doesn't work out, he hurts our APR at a time when we can't really afford it.
I'd take him. He's high risk, but HUGE reward. He really is a game changer...especially behind our o-line. With that said, it is not happening, but it is fun to debate!
I do not think that he fits into Coach bUTch Jones' profile of a personality that he wants on the team.
Gruden and Butch, were unbeatable.........
