I say to Dyer and to Crowell.
Lots of upside for Dyer. Good experience. Good work ethic. Would push the current stable, and be someone the youngsters could learn from. If he's stayed in game shape and is a moldable character, I think he's worth the risk.
This would be great to me but i think Lane will have a break out year this year i dont think Dooley gave him a chance last year he was avg more yards than Neal. Also even when the run was working we would just stop anyway so no worries for me next year no matter whos running.
ya i agree all of last year i thought lane was the better runner jay graham really got him to hit the hole hard and run north and south while neal kept trying to bounce it outside. i know the staff liked neal better because of his home run threat but id rather take a consistent 6 or 7 yards a run play with Lane than the ups and downs with neal
Just had an Auburn friend approach me about Dyer to UT... said he is hearing it may have legs.
